HashRego Privacy Policy

What We Collect

HashRego collects three types of information:

  • Rego Data (Information provided to register for an event)
  • User Data (Information provided to create an account)
  • Site Analytics (Anonymous site usage information)

In all cases, we attempt to collect and store only information strictly necessary for use of the service.


How We Use Your Information

Rego Data

Some information is visible to anyone on the event page and Who's Cumming list, including:

  • Hash Name
  • Home Kennel
  • Amount Due(Unpaid Regos Only)
  • Hasher Profile Info(if linked)

Other registration information is provided only to the event organizers and host kennel Mismanagement.

Registration information is never sold or shared with anyone other than event organizers and host kennel MM, unless we are required to by law.

User Data

User Accounts provide convenience features, but are not required for event registration. A user account is required to host or organize events on HashRego.

If linked to a rego, some information is visible to anyone on the pages of events you register for:

  • Tagline
  • Profile Picture

Your profile page contains some information visible to other HashRego members:

  • Hash Name
  • Home Kennel
  • Tagline
  • Profile Picture
  • HashRego Kennel Memberships

Other User Data may be used in the daily operation of, or to make improvements to the website.

User Data is never sold or shared with anyone unless we are required to by law.

Site Analytics

We use Google Analytics as well as some custom tools to track anonymous usage statistics. We use this data to help measure site performance, avoid outages, and make improvements to HashRego. We do not collect personally identifying information through Google Analytics or our in-house tools. If you wish to opt-out of Google Analytics, you can do so using Google's opt out tool.

Accessing, Correcting, or Deleting your Data

If you have registered for an event and need to correct or remove your registration information, please contact the organizers for that event through the contact email provided on the event page.

If you have registered a HashRego account, you can access, correct, or change the account information you provided to us through your profile settings page.

All users may request an export of personal information in a machine-readable format or deletion of all user data. To request an export or deletion, contact us at dev@hashrego.com.


Children's Online Privacy Protection Act

Services provided by HashRego are only available for use by legal adults. HashRego does not knowingly collect any personal information from users under 18 years of age. If we become aware that we have unknowingly collected personal information from a child under the age of 18, we will delete that information.

Cookies

HashRego uses cookies and similar web browser technologies, like localStorage, to help make it easier to use our service. For example, we use them to help keep you logged in and remember your preferences.

You can adjust your browser settings to remove and/or disable cookies. You may notice odd site behavior and some features may not work properly if cookies are blocked.

Security

HashRego has implemented processes intended to protect user information and maintain security of data. It is each user’s responsibility to protect the security of his or her login information. We have attempted to protect HashRego's servers by locating in them areas with security procedures, using of firewalls and implementing other generally available security technologies.

These safeguards help prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the appropriate use of data, but NO GUARANTEE CAN BE MADE THAT YOUR INFORMATION AND DATA WILL BE SECURE FROM INTRUSIONS AND UNAUTHORIZED RELEASE TO THIRD PARTIES.

Changes to this policy

HashRego may periodically update this policy. Each version of this Policy will be identified at the bottom of the page by its effective date.
