The Magic City Acceptance Center (MCAC) is a brave and affirming space for LGBTQ children, youth, and adults in Birmingham, Alabama. They provide programs and safe spaces for LGBTQ+ youth of Birmingham aged 13-24 including but not limited to social programs such as a proms and summer camps, dorm quality facilities that include access to a kitchen and showers for youth that have been displaced from their homes for their gender and/or sexual identity, 24 hour text resources via discord, education and counselling for them and their families and even drag queen story time for younger kids!
