Shell Key Campout 2024

04/26 07:30 PM to 04/28 04:00 PM

A Hash Campout

Cost: Free/Pay as you go*

Join the LUSH for a last campout before we all stay indoors until the heat goes away again. One night with campfire, movie on the beach, s'mores, and debauchery on beautiful Shell Key, just across from Ft. De Soto Park near St. Petersburg, FL.

You can also join the St. Pete H3 trail the day before, Friday April 26th, 7:30 pm, see below.

There is a $0 rego fee but you must rego at https://hashrego.com/events/shell-key-camp-out-2024, i.e. here and get a $1-6 camping permit, see below.

We will be kayaking there from Fort De Soto Boat Ramp. You can trailer your boat there too and leave the car and trailer at the boat ramp for $5 per day. Hot Nutz (anybody else?) will be shuttling up to one sealed contractor bag of equipment per person over in his tiny dinghy. That’s dinghy, not d… . Alternatively, you can take your own stuff or book a ferry camping ticket for departures at 10 am, 12 pm, or 2 pm for $50 or just come for a day trip.
