Pirate Hash Final Information / Instructions (Please thoroughly review)
Camping site is for Hashers not your car. Once you drop off your camping gear see the Hairs for directions on where to park. (Please consider carpooling – if not from your home – meet at canoe livery and park in their gated overflow lot across street from the livery.)
Driveway at camping area is utilized by the canoe livery to pick up muggles and canoes completing their trip. DO NOT block the driveway while you are unloading your camping gear. (Unload your gear, go park your car, return to set up your tent.)
No camping around canoe takeout area. See Hairs for guidance on where to set up your tent or cardboard box.
Camping area is adjacent to Towpath Trail. Canoe livery owner has asked that any SHENANIGANS happen after 8 PM. BE DISCREET.
Please be discreet when consuming acholic beverages prior to 8 PM. Strongly Suggest placing your beer in a koozie.
Remember to bring: small cooler for river beverages, Koozie, dry bag if you plan on taking something on the river and don’t want it to get wet-like you phone, folding/camp chair if you want to somewhere to sit other than the grass, water for personal hydration.
Do not leave any valuables at camp site while we are on the river. Schedule:

2:00 Pre-Lube at Towpath Cabin (they will be staffed if you want to get food) Liability wavers are required- will get your signature when collecting Hash Cash - ($, Venmo, or PayPal)
3:15 Van pick-up at Towpath Cabin. (please reframe from consumption during ride)
3:30 Chalk Talk at Canoe Livery Pavilion (please reframe from consumption while at livery)
3:45 To the high seas of the mighty Tuscarawas (resume consumption)

This is our annual Pirate Hash - Dress like a Pirate or Wench or we'll plunder yer booty! You'll canoe 6 miles down the mighty and treacherous Tuscarawas River while drinking the finest grog we could get on the cheap.
What to bring besides a sense of humor and adventure:
$35 will get you: seat in canoe / beer / pizza at On After. Camping space if you want to stay over night.
A small treasure chest(cooler) to keep your grog chilled while at sea(or on the river). Beverages will be provided. If you don't bring your own treasure chest you will get a cheap plastic bag with some ice and Godspeed if you take an unintentional dip in the water.
A chair to sit on/in at the On After.

A dry bag (change of clothes, socks, shoes) as you never know if your canoe will be boarded. Argh!
A headlamp or flashlight as it gets dark quickly this time of year.
Tent or hammock or large cardboard box and anything else you may need if camping overnight.
