So back when no can remember Rexine started the PGH Float and Bloat. Which Moon stole buy the rite of marriage. Now he is super old and has decided the younger generation needs to carry this burden. PITTH3 was there and in desperate need of an excuse to get drunk and shoot fireworks at Man Gurglers “cabin”. It was a match made in hash heaven blessed off by G himself.

So hot off the heels of the best hash event of 2017 we present the 2018 PITTH3 5th AGM campout. The theme is homecoming. So bring your best suit and most sultry dress to cut up the dance floor and help us celebrate five years of doing louder, better, and snottier then all kennels combined. There will be a homecoming parade float Saturday. We want to see your float all jazzed up with hash pride. That night there will be a homecoming court vote with possible prizes. And of course there will be plenty of booze and shenanigans to go around.

Few notes:
1. The campout is technically Saturday morning to Sunday morning. You can come up Friday but food for Friday dinner and Saturday breakfast is on you. Beer will be tapped Friday however.
2. The man has been cracking down on river drinking more and more lately. So we have decided not bring a keg on the float like years past because we don’t want to get arrested or fined. But we are allowing growler fills before we put out. Also floating coolers are super cheap on amazon and we can transport your cans to the put in for you.

Directions From PGH to Float & Bloat - 2025 Rockland Station Rd. Kennerdell, PA 16374
GPS may or may not work for the last 30 miles on the dirt roads. There are also limited road signs.

Carpool & Caravan as much as possible.

Take I79 North to I80 East – towards Clarion
Take Exit 29 for PA-8 towards Franklin – Oil City Area / Barkeyville

Turn left onto PA-8 N off the ramp. Towards Franklin. Drive 5.1 miles.

Take the PA-308 S Exit towards Pearl / Bullion
Turn Right Onto PA 308-S drive - Drive 2.5 miles
Turn Left onto State Rte 3008 – 2.4 miles.
This road will become Kennerdell Rd. You’ll go down a hill cross the river and go back up the hill. Drive 8.3 miles.

There’s a cool look out point you’ll pass on your left – worth a photo stop.

You’ll come to a 4 way stop in the

Turn

​RIGHT On Pittsville Rd. – Drive 1.7 mils.
Turn RIGHT on Rockland Station Rd. – all dirt roads from here. Go down the hill,
**turn left, then right at the bottom of the hill. (it’s really the only way you can go – you’ll be crossing the bike trail)
3 more miles driving along the river. PLEASE BE RESPECTFUL & DRIVE SLOW. – SERIOUSLY. Crack open a beer & drive slow and enjoy the view. speed limit 15 miles / hour – I know it sucks, but we need to keep friendly with the neighbors.

FLOATS – bring your floating device to the house. IF you plan on floating in something bigger than an inflatable tube, you can park your car at the bottom of the hill** by the tunnel. We will be putting in behind a private house, I’m friends with the owners, but I don’t want to leave it in their yard while we aren’t there.

Bring Something to inflate your floaties if you have it!! The quicker we can blow everything up the longer we can spend in the water!
