For Palmetto H3's 2nd annual campout, we decided to live high on the hog and rent out a house for a glamping weekend event! The location is 10 ½ acres of rural forest, bordered by a creek and a dirt road, halfway between Columbia and Augusta.

The theme of the weekend is Backcountry Glampout. Pack your favorite daisy dukes, bathing suits, and Northface or outdoorsman gear, and be ready to hash-camp in style! Restrooms will be indoor and we will have access to a full kitchen, air conditioning inside, and a fire pit area.

Friday night will start with the 2nd annual Palmetto H3 Chili Cook Off, with a prize for the winner crowned by popular vote. Friday festivities will also include a shooting start trail, so bring a libation or activity to contribute to the trail. All other meals and beverages will be provided for the weekend.

There are bed spaces on a first come, first reserved basis, as well as room for some air mattresses and a few tents. You will be notified after we receive a paid rego as to whether you have a bed in a bedroom, an air mattress floor space, or will need to bring a tent. [UPDATE- all unpaid regos or new regos as of 5/4/19 will be tent camping only].
