Davis, WV is part of the unique topography of Canaan Valley, the highest town in WV in the highest sizeable valley east of the Mississippi. If you arrive this early, Mismanagement suggests checking out nearby Thomas, WV. A walker trail away, Thomas offers many quaint shops, several bars including the Purple Fiddle live music venue and Mountain State Brewing Company. Also, the Blackwater Canyon Rail Trail runs through town.
