Join us at the beach to continue the celebration of Mount Vernon Hash House Harriers' 40th year of hashing!! This year's AGM is in the riverside city of Colonial Beach Virginia.
Dates: April 24th – April 26th
SUMMARY OF EVENTS
• Friday 4pm: check-in at hotel Hashpitality suite
• Friday 6pm: Pub crawl in Colonial Beach
• Saturday 10am: Outgoing misman trail (with lunch) at George Washington Birthplace National Monument Picnic Area
• Saturday 7:30 pm: AGM Dinner at Los Hermanos Cantina
• Sunday 10am: Incoming misman trail
PRICE
• $65 for Adults (even immature ones, $75 after 4/12)
• $75 after Sunday April 12!!
• $25 for kids under age 10 (includes trails + Saturday lunch and dinner)
• $40 for 10-18 (includes trails + Saturday lunch and dinner)
• $25 for Saturday trail only option (includes drinks and lunch)

Last I heard, the hash hotel was booked up, but it is worth calling them to see if they have openings. If so, maybe you can get it at the discounted price of $85 per night (under "Vernon Runners", single king and dual queen options). There are a couple other hotels in town and there are a number of rentals in town (Airbnb/VRBO) as well as nearby Monroe Bay Campground.

Schedule of Events
4-6 : Sign in at Hash Hotel (River Edge Inn, 30 Colonial Ave)
5-6 : Pizza and Pre-lube at Hash Hotel: Stop by the hashpitality suite to grab a slice of pizza and get your liver warmed up for the weekend.
Note: food options at every venue.
6-7 : Colonial Beach Brewing (215 Washington Ave): Start off the evening with $5 pints of house beers (or grab a wine, seltzer, or NA drink).
7-8: Circa 1892 (106 Hawthorn St): Act dignified with a glass of wine (they also have other beverages).
8-9 : Ice House Brewery & Kitchen (119 Monroe Bay Ave): Take the short walk for great beers, food options, and live music.
9-10 : Los Hermanos Cantina (11 Monroe Bay Ave): Stroll next door for a margarita (a preview of the Saturday dinner location).
10-11 : The Black Pearl Tiki Bar (205 Taylor St): Finish up the evening with drinks at a tiki bar!
Trail is at George Washington Birthplace National Monument with start and end in the picnic area. We encourage people to carpool as there is limited parking at picnic area. Gather up at the hash hotel at 9:30 so you can get to start by 10 am. It is about a 20 minute drive. A to A w/ lunch.
The road to the picnic area are not shown on Google Maps. Start is in the parking lot at this location: Picnic Area Parking Lot
As you enter George Washington Birthplace National Monument you will encounter a traffic circle. Take the circle 3/4 around and follow signs for "Picnicking." After 1/4 mile, follow the fork to the right after another "Picnicking" sign. Follow this road to the parking lot at the end. Also, why does "Picnicking" have a "k" in it??

Saturday dinner is Fajitas at Los Hermanos Cantina (11 Monroe Bay Ave) starting at 7:30.
It is a short walk or drive from the hash hotel. The menu includes Chicken, Steak, Shrimp, Veggie Fajitas with Rice, Beans, Pico de Gallo, Sour Cream, and Tortilla Shells. Open bar with a killer selection of margaritas!
