MH3 Waiver of Liability, Release, and Assumption of Risk Agreement

In consideration of being allowed to participate in the Minneapolis Hash House Harriers event known as "No Wimps" (hereinafter referred to as "the Event"), I, the undersigned, acknowledge and agree to the following:

1. Assumption of Risk
I understand that participation in the Event involves running and/or walking, which may take place on roads, trails, or other uneven or unpredictable terrain, and that such activities carry inherent risks including, but not limited to, falls, injuries, physical exertion, contact with other participants, vehicles, wildlife, and the effects of weather, including heat, humidity, cold, and rain. I voluntarily choose to participate in this Event, fully aware of these risks, and I assume all responsibility for my participation.

2. Waiver and Release of Liability
I, for myself and on behalf of my heirs, assigns, personal representatives, and next of kin, hereby waive, release, and discharge the Minneapolis Hash House Harriers, event organizers, volunteers, sponsors, and any associated personnel or entities from any and all claims, liabilities, or causes of action of any kind arising out of my participation in the Event, including but not limited to, personal injury, illness, death, or property damage that I may suffer as a result of my participation, regardless of whether such damages or injuries are caused by the negligence of those released.

3. Medical Treatment
I understand that there may be no medical services available during the Event and that organizers may not provide medical personnel or supplies. In the event of illness or injury, I consent to receive appropriate medical treatment as necessary, and I agree that I am financially responsible for any medical care provided to me during the Event.

4. Fitness to Participate
I certify that I have not been advised by any medical professional to avoid participation in activities like this. I am not aware of any medical condition that would prevent my safe participation in the Event.

5. Image Release
I hereby grant permission to the Minneapolis Hash House Harriers to use my likeness in photographs, videos, or other media for promotional or marketing purposes, without compensation or notice.

6. Indemnification
I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Minneapolis Hash House Harriers, its organizers, volunteers, and any other individuals or entities associated with the Event from any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from or in connection with my participation in the Event, including but not limited to claims brought by third parties.

7. Governing Law
This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, and any disputes arising from this agreement or my participation in the Event shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Minnesota.

I HAVE READ THIS WAIVER, FULLY UNDERSTAND ITS TERMS, AND SIGN IT FREELY AND VOLUNTARILY WITHOUT ANY INDUCEMENT.
