2026 Lingerie ShiggyFest

TL;DR 2026 ShiggyFest might be postponed until 2027. Decision will be made by 5/11/26.

Sir Issac Walton has decided not to rent the property in 2026, leaving us with a location issue. They don’t have anyone on MM that wants to deal with the rental and voted against renting it in 2026. It’s always fucking MM . . .

Thought I had a different location worked out, but decided we need similar facilities (#1 private, #2 kitchen facilities, & #3 dining hall (AC preferred) or outside shaded pavilion).

I’m going to keep looking for the next few weeks to see if a new venue can be located that meets our needs. If no location is found by May 10, 2026, I’ll be postponing ShiggyFest until 2027.

Any location has to be open to various states of undress and alcohol abuse, which rules out many properties (Be cool, Honey Bunny! Be cool!).

ShiggyFest has set a high standard and I need to uphold the tradition. Lube wrestling, Lube Ball, Mr / Miss ShiggyFest, and the lingerie parade must continue!

The new location must allow our normal shenanigans so we can retain Top 5 Campout ranking with Saloon!

If you know of a potential place, let me know. I would prefer no more than 2 hours from our past site due to logistics.

For 2026, Bubba’s isn’t an option (distance, haven’t seen the site, no kitchen, no dining hall/pavilion). Also looked at Martins Landing Camp and not good fit for same reasons. Both will be in play for 2027 if I don’t find another location this year.
