Alrighty Wankers! Here are the deets for JaxH3's RDR. This year we are taking things a bit more low-key with a 1-day approach and moving to the San Marco district for a change of scenery. If you want to see the riverbank of the St. John's River, here is your chance. Please, for the love of everything that you think is holy, do not go swimming in that river!

HISTORY
Kum Gurgling Bitch, better known as KGB, started the Jacksonville Red Dress on May Day in 1999. There we were - about 20 of us wankers wearing red dresses at the School Board building downtown, about to embark on the first red dress run (and yes, we did run) through the streets of downtown Jacksonville.
Fast forward to 2025. A few of us who knew KGB are still here to remember him. Yeti, all of us are here to celebrate the tradition of what he started.

The Rego Cost this Year? A cheap $35.
Why so Cheap? Because Hash travel, cars, hookers, eggs, and life is expensive. This year for $35 you get a gimmie bag with some cool hashy stuff including a patch an hashpitality beer covered in the Hashpitality suite at the hotel. The remainder of the funds from your rego which will be around $20 will be used as a donation to JASMYN. Of course you can give more than the $20 allocated from your rego. Food and drinks on trail will be pay as you go! We have chosen places that will not break the bank. Ruth's Chris laughed us out of the place. Minus that terrible customer service, that means if you don’t want the drink, don’t buy it. If you want more than 1 at each stop, buy it. You can be the master of your own discretionary spending. Regarding food, there are lots of tasty spots in this area in which to eat including one less than a block from the hotel. Whatever you decide to do, please have a plan to get to your home/crash space without JSO ruining your party.

CHARITY
Proceeds and voluntary donations will go Jasmyn House of Jacksonville. JASMYN supports the empowerment of LGBTQIA+ teens and young adults through leadership, advocacy, resources, and a safe and affirming community. This is a Hilton (Like Paris) hotel so you will need to be on slightly better behavior. The pool should be open to us and per my conversation with the Promotions Mgr, parking will be thrown in for free. YOU WILL NEED TO UPDATE THE LENGTH OF STAY TO 1 DAY (Sat to Sun) Rooms are $132 per night when using the link. Check in occurs at 3 PM.

For those coming in for the event on Saturday, check in is at 3 PM. Since we are slated to start before that, from about 4-5 PM we will be making arrangements for us to walk by the hotels so you can check in and then to continue onward with a causal stroll along the riverfront.

The plan for now is to have fun and not be dumb. The other part of the plan is to have a healthy thirst of sweet nectar for us to raise money for JASMYN ( https://www.jasmyn.org/ ).
