Seeing as this is the 10th installment of HVW, what better way to celebrate than with a real a$$-kicker of a trail? For every year of glorious, memory-making shiggy, this year's HVW2017 will take you on 10-plus mile ballbuster down memory lane. Expect an A-to-B trail through the Meramec River Valley, with unforgiving terrain and nauseating heat. Your flesh will be thrashed and bludgened by briars and boulders, but nothing screams #merica more than the red, white and blue. Your balls will be broken and so will your pride, but your reward will be beer, beer and more beer. Mark your calendars and your tombstone. HVW2017 is July 23, 2017.
