The Hangover "Ocean Front Property in West Virginia" Campout Prelube and Trail!!! Come on out to the (Blue) Ridge on our Penis(ula) at a completely private group camp site on the Potomac! Enjoy the beautiful cascades, grand vistas and scenery of autumn on the waterfront!
We are keeping it simple and cheap. This is a bring your own beer and food event for Saturday. Firewood will be provided. Bring some of your favorite craft brews to share... or liquor, like Rosary and Burito: The Truffle Pig who will surely be swapping Tequila!
Late check-out at 1pm allows for an epic 10am Sunday trail that will take a scenic tour along both the Potomac and Shenandoah rivers and trail and end circle beer will of course be provided along with the usual orange foods. On-After "Brunch" will now be at the newly opened Harpers Ferry Brewing! Amazing views and brews! Food truck available as well as Mama Jo's Pepperoni Rolls!
Wear your best country western gear and get ready to get buzzed on suds out on some back country road! If we are lucky we'll be dancing in the dust, turning the radio up with fireball whispering in our ears, dancing in strobelight plaid til dawn! Aaaannndddd if you don't have a Hangover in the morning, you weren't trying!

Start will be from River Riders Campground Parking at ~1pm. Biking Terrain will be flat along a canal gravel road for about 2 miles to lower town. We will then do a 4 mile round trip hike from C&O up to the iconic Maryland Heights overlook. We will then ride back 2 miles. Finish before sunset (5pm) so we have time to set camp. Bring your own bike. Bring bike lock if you have one (though some can share).

Semi-car camping. It is advertised as a half-mile, hike-in location. Hike gear in along river road or vehicles may be driven to the site (when zip line tours aren't running) where you can unload. Then please drive your car back to the main area of the campground to park before a short walk back because there isn't room for all cars on group site.
9:30am- Hike-Out All Gear
10am- Hangover Trail (start at cars)
