About The Event
Join the H5 Mountain Peoples for 3 days of hashing fun and camping in the Hollers of south central PA. Highlights of the weekend will include a Friday night camp crawl, rugged Saturday trail, hash Olympics, everybody’s favorite hash band and did we mention beer will be on tap throughout the weekend?
Friday afternoon set up your tent or cabin (See details in rego) and relax a spell before we tap those kegs at 4pm and get our grub on.
Cabins:
We have cabins available this year. Enough for a lot of people, but not enough for everyone! Cabins sleep up to 8 hashers. Plan on bringing an air mattress and bedding. There may be some bunks available, but don't count on it. They are open air A-Frames with minimal electric. So plan accordingly. Submit your interest in the form at rego with bunkmates preference if available and we will be contacting you closer to the event with cabin specifics. A $20 refundable deposit will be available upon arrival.
Chili Cookoff
!! Participate in the Friday Night “ROADKILL” Chili Cookoff !!
All Y’alls gonna wanna get dressed for the camp crawl early as we have changed a few things and moved SKITs to Friday night after dinner. Cum watch as your fellow harriers and harriettes put on a show that’ll leave you whistlin’ dixie all through the Friday night camp crawl.
Friday Night Theme:
Pennsyltucky Dirty. Channel your dirty hillbilly, redneck, or PA MUDRAT and prepare for some fun as our hares lead you through our infamous camp crawl all the way to the redneck night club. Then try your luck at Midnight MUD WRASTLIN or just dance the night away.
Beer Mile
This is the first triple crown beer mile in hashing history. Particpate in our beer mile and then again at Charm City Preakness and Pittsburgh H3 Analverary Campouts for bragging rights and maybe something special.
Classes include:
Beer Mile Open (Co-Ed Class)
Phillies Only (ladies, not BFM hashers.)
Quarter-mile Quarter Horse (3-person)
Stick Horse 100m.
Please sign up ahead of time so we can slot your name in the racecard. Give one a shot or try to tackle a few different events.
