Prelube: Step-Childe Harold

Lace up and prepare to relive the original escape story—this time with better shoes and significantly more wine.

We will start our journey in Dupont Circle for a slightly-less-than traditional trek to freedom. We’ll make four essential wine stops along the way (because miracles take hydration) and try to survive the hashy versions of the Ten Plagues—hopefully less locust-heavy than the original Passover story, but no promises.

From frogs to… mild inconveniences, each step will bring us closer to liberation—or libation, at least. It will be a journey of perseverance, questionable athleticism, and just enough adventure to remind us that while some of our ancestors wandered the desert for 40 years, the only part of the story we might actually want to recreate is the parting of the Red Sea ;-)

Survive the final plague—an undetermined number of down downs—to make it to the promised land (also known as Recessions) for some celebratory singing.
(No Seder meal will be provided, so if you want fuel for the journey, you may want to eat your own unleavened bread ahead of time.)

Miscellaneous Crap: Trail is A to A (0.2 mi to Dupont Metro). Bring your own vessel, a cranium light, dry shoes, bug spray, and a full water bottle. Sign up on Hash Rego is required if paying by card! Be smart, have fun.
