Mark the calendar, iron the dress (or don't — wrinkles add character), and start hydrating now, because DC Red Dress Run #32 is coming in hot and coming in red.

The Nature Conservancy is our Charity.
Beyond wearing a red dress, charitable giving is the oldest and most important part of the worldwide Hash House House Harriers Red Dress Run tradition dating back to 1988. The DC Red Dress Run is the only opportunity during the year when the entire DC area hashing community comes together to support a charitable cause.

Date: Saturday, October 10th
Time: 1:00 PM sharp-ish (it's a hash — "sharp" is relative)
Start: Dupont Circle — 21 Dupont Cir NW, Washington, DC 20036
Trail: A-to-A-ish
Theme: RED DRESS. Non-negotiable.

The Dress Code
One rule, and it's the entire premise of the day: wear a red dress. All genders, all sizes, all levels of comfort with hosiery — everyone's invited to the same bit. Bonus points for sequins, flair, or a dress that's clearly survived a few hashes already.

For IRS tax-free purposes, the following is a membership fee ending in September 2027.

Virgins Welcome:
Never hashed before? Perfect timing. This kennel is, as always, extremely virgin-friendly — someone in the pack will explain what "on-on" means, why everyone's in a dress, and why your finish time matters a lot less than your circle participation. Yes, the dress code applies to virgins too. No exceptions, no mercy.

Getting There:
Dupont Circle off the Red Line Metro (see what we did there) is a short walk from the start — worth considering, since parking around the circle on a Saturday is its own contact sport.

Bring your ID on trail
Bring cash to tip - while your rego includes tips for bar staff, putting up with us is an achievement in and of itself.
