This anal event may be our first real hash as we start to return to "normal" life. Being at the end of June, I anticipate we will be well into the final phases of "opening up" in the Western New York region. We will follow whatever the local and state guidelines are for safe socializing in effect at that time.

Steaming Wood brings you back to Devil's Hole for one hell of a hash, and first leg of trail includes the grueling patch challenge. Most don't make it, some have tried numerous years. On June 27th, you will have your chance to try again!

Where: Devil Hole State Park Parking Area, devil hole state park, Niagara Falls, NY 14305 (type this into google for directions)

Hash Cash: $10

Theme: wear red, wear devils horns, wear a devils tail, carry a flaming pitchfork, get your evil on.

This hash will feature: hot pepper beers, spicy snacks, yummy chocolate assholes, and devil's food cake. (Don't worry, there will also be water and regular hash beer) Trail will start right off with an eagle-turkey split. This eagle is not for the meek, it will be timed - but the r*cists will be rewarded. Eagles will descend 300ft into the gorge down a stone staircase. Once at the bottom they will run about a mile along the rivers edge on a technical trail, while avoiding falling into the rapids, until they hit the whirlpool staircase, at which point they must ascend the wall of stairs to the first BN. Those who complete this portion of trail within 20 minutes will receive the exclusive Steaming Wood Devil's Hole patch.
