The Amazing Race is a multi-award-winning hash hosted by the award-nominated Charleston Heretics. This year, participants will embark on a trek around downtown Charleston. At every destination, each team must compete in a series of challenges, some mental and some physical. Teams who are the farthest behind will gradually be humiliated as the contest progresses. The team to arrive at the final destination with the most number of points will be crowned champions of the 2022 Amazing Race!

When: 2nd Weekend in November
Where: Aquarium Garage, 25 Calhoun St, top floor
Cost: $40 per person if paid in advance (includes 3 meals, trail activities, beer stops, shot stops, transportation, gimmies). $50 day of event. Be prepared to spend a couple bucks on extra credit activities. On-after is a cash bar.

To RSVP, send $40 to "Catharine Parker" (aka @CharlestonHeretics) via Paypal (paypal.me/charlestonheretics). Review your transaction before you send it. If you pay using your Paypal balance or bank account, and choose friends and family there will be no fee. Yay!

If you pay as goods/services, hash cash will deny your payment, ask you to repay as friends/family, and you will face punishment of the sleeve of justice. Rego is non-refundable. If you're unable to make it please feel free to sell or transfer your rego at or below cost. Just message mis-management when completed.

WHAT YOU WANT TO KNOW

You get to choose your team this year. Teams of 2 or 3. If you don't have a team don't worry, we'll match you up with others on race day. This "trail" is coordinated exactly like the TV show "The Amazing Race" (duh). Teams decipher clues to move around historic Charleston and compete against each other through "Road Blocks" (activities that only one person per team can perform) and "Detours" (teams choose one of two challenges to do) as they make their way across the city. Road Blocks and Detours may be athletic, mental, memory-driven, food or drink related so all hashers have a chance to win. It's the most fun you'll have at a day-long hash event, and walkers or runners are welcome to participate!
